Types of Membership

You ARE an Active Member if you are a

Employed in any occupational health nursing role as defined by the AOHNA Standards of Practice (full time / part time / casual)
OHN (holding OHNC or COHNC) or equivalent
Student in an OHNC or equivalent program in any capacity (anywhere in Canada) having completed 3 courses or more

You ARE an Associate Member if you are a:

Current or former active member with CARNA, or
Current active member in good standing of other Canadian Provincial Nursing Licensing Body, or
Pending Alberta registration (recently moved to Alberta)

Employed beyond the scope of AOHNA Standards or Practice with an interest in occupational health nursing
Non-Occupational Health, Nursing students
Students in an OHNC or Equivalent program in any capacity (anywhere in Canada) having completed less than 3 courses

Honorary Membership is awarded by the association to members who are retired in recognition for their service to the profession.

Fees

Active Membership - $75.71/year plus GST
Associate membership - $40.38/year plus GST
