Alberta’s Occupational Health Nurses provide integrated occupational health and safety services to employers and employees.

To become an occupational health nurse you must be a Registered Nurse in good standing with CARNA.

• Certification from a recognized post-secondary organization such as Grant MacEwan College is recommended.
• Specialized certifications in the area of Disability Management, Spirometry, Audiometry, and Safety Auditing are available.
• Certification with a Canadian Occupational Health Nursing Certificate COHN(C) is encouraged.
